ADLER trend stains: in the best room with Hias & Heidi

In summer we are drawn to the mountain pastures. Rustic huts and cosy rooms emit a unique flair. The Alpine style is enjoying tremendous popularity: mountain huts, farms, stables and barns are exposed to UV rays and other environmental impacts the whole year round. This creates unique, greyed and sunburnt wood surfaces with extraordinary colour effects. This “old wood look” is in demand more than ever – also in the indoor area.

Yet how do I quickly achieve what the sun, wind and weather have created over centuries? For all lovers of the Alpine old wood look, ADLER now has a simple solution: with the new Arova Aqua-Alpin Trend stains, joiners and carpenters can bring the mountain hut style to the living room almost overnight.

STRIKING AND FULL OF CHARACTER – LIKE THE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE ALPS

The new trend stains from Austria's leading varnish and paint manufacturer, ADLER, gives new wood a rustic, expressive character. The water-based softwood stain, due to its special lightfast dyes combined with micronised pigments, reveals a strikingly positive stain pattern. The hard annual rings and knots are particularly noticeable, and the wood looks antique or weathered. This effect comes out best on vigorously brushed spruce (stainless steel brush). The stain is ideally applied by spraying and then distributed with a paint brush. Both water and solvent-based paints can be used for recoating purposes.
The eight standard colours with quaint Tyrolean names can also be mixed with each other. But whether it is Hansi or Heidi, Franz, Toni or Sepp: they all give wood a pure mountain hut flair!
