Window refurbishment using the Pullex refurbishment products

Make new from old - unsightly coats peeling off on windows and doors are now a thing of the past...

Pullex Renovier-Grund und Pullex Fenster-Lasur, the refurbishment system from ADLER for weathered windows and doors with thin-layer and thick-layer glaze finish. You can lend new gloss to your windows, doors or window shutters without too much effort.

This is how it works:

Select the desired colour shade that you wish to apply to the item after refurbishment. The ADLER colour fans or colour charts will make the job of selecting the colour shade easy for you. You merely select the final colour shade and the ADLER colour blending system recommends the primer colour shade that is compatible.

Professional tip:  Remove coats that have infiltrated or are peeling off using a scraper for thick-layer glaze finishes. It is best to sand off paint residues and greyed wooden substances using sandpaper having grain size 60. Sharp edges are rounded off. Sanding is repeated using grain size 120 over the entire window frame.

Now, remove dust and dirt from the wood.

Now you can impregnate the window with Pullex Renovier-Grund . You can coat highly absorbent wooden structures "wet on wet" a second time.

After at least 12  hours of drying, you can apply the first coat using Pullex Fenster-Lasur.

Professional tip: Use a paintbrush having short and rigid bristles in the process – you can achieve a beautiful glaze finish.

After about 6 hours of drying time, you can apply the second coat using Pullex Fenster-Lasur.

We recommend two topcoats with Pullex Color for optimal results for colourful or opaque window refurbishment.

You can also use the Pullex Renovier-System that has been tried and tested over many years in order to make old and greyed windows and doors shine as good as new. The ADLER quality guarantees you perfect protection and beauty for many years to come.
